Kallada theva nayanar
*
kallada dheva nayanar is one among the twelve who sung the padhinoran thirumurai (eleventh thirumurai)(1). There have been many poets by name kalladar referred in the history. one set of people say that this devotee is different from the one who lived in the sangam period (BCe). (The kalladar who lived in the sangam period has written many songs in the sangam literature.) There is one composition written by kalladar present in the eleventh thirumurai which is thirukkannappa dhevar thirumaram.
*
There is book kalladam(2) also written by a devotee by name kalladar. This literature utilising the instrument of depicting the love between a male and female praises the glory of the lord shiva. (like thirukkovaiyar(3), while the headings thirukkovaiyar has (400) is a superset of those found in kalladam). This has a very rich ruling over the words and is very similar to the language used in the sangam literature.
