kapila dheva nayanar
kapiladheva nayanar is one among the twelve who sung the padhinoran thirumurai (eleventh thirumurai)(1). There have been many poets by name kapilar referred in the history. one set of people say that this devotee is different from the one who lived in the sangam period (BCe). (The kapilar who lived in the sangam period has written many songs in the sangam literature.) There are three compositions written by this devotee of lord shiva present in the eleventh thirumurai, which are muththa nayanar thiruirattaimanimalai, shivaperuman thiruirattaimanimalai, shivaperuman thiruandhadhi.
